Important Dates & Deadlines

• October 16th - 1st Day to Vote In-Person at the Courthouse 8AM-4PM, Monday-Friday 
  • Additional In-Person Absentee Voting - Saturday November 2nd 9AM-5PM
• October 21st - Open Til 5PM
  • Voter Pre-Registration Deadline
  • Last Day to Mail Absentee Ballots - We must have a request on file in order to mail a ballot
• November 5th - General Election Day
  • All Polling Locations are Open 7AM-8PM
  • You must vote in the precinct in which you live

Absentee Voting

Absentee Ballots will be available beginning on Wednesday, October 16th, for mailing and in-person voting. 

• August 27th - First Day to Submit Absentee Ballot Request Forms for the General Election
• October 21st - the last day an absentee ballot may be ailed to a voter for the General Election 
• November 4th - In-Person Abentee voting ends at 4PM
• Requests for absentee ballots must be made in writing and should be mailed or delivered to: Franklin County Auditor, PO Box 26, Hampton, Iowa 50441
